The NPCA asks you to provide a small amount of
information to become a
registered user of our discussion forums or subscribe to our newsletter. These
are both "double opt-in" so you must click a link in a received e-mail to
validate your subscription or forum registration. That way our mailings of the
newsletter cannot be considered "spam" since you must ask twice to receive it.
No user's information is ever used to generate mailing lists of any
kind (other than the newsletter subscribers) and is never sold or in any way or form distributed to others, not
even our own members.
Any information sent for us to post in our "work available" forum for consumers looking in areas where we do not have members remains confidential. Personal contact info is not posted with the job description. Respondents reply 0nly to us and their reply is forwarded to the party making the request for their consideration, protecting the privacy of the person making the inquiry.
Our forums do have profile sections where participants may chose which, if any, information to make public. This is controlled entirely by the user at your discretion.
We do not collect any information from our consumer information site.
Information
from direct e-mail requests sent to us is only used for processing those requests and
remains completely private as above.
"Cookies" are only used to display relevant content as selected by users and to make your visit a more efficient and enjoyable experience. Some features of our sites (such as our forums) do not function properly if cookies are disabled. Our cookies do not contain any personally identifiable information.
Contractor's information as provided in our search functions is public information provided by the member contractor for that purpose and the use of visitors to our site for the purposes of locating member contractors to estimate/evaluate/or provide pavement work. Any firm or individual suspected of attempting to "harvest" member's information for other purposes will be denied access to this site. (and talked bad about among our members!)

The N.P.C.A. screens all member contractors and believes them to be the most
reputable in the industry, however all business transactions are strictly
between the customer and their contractor and any guarantees, liability, contractual
agreements, and payment arrangements do not involve the N.P.C.A.

We really like the site of Gibson Research . They are security experts and their site has lots of good information and free security and "spyware" checks. They detest information "collectors" as much as we do.
